This privately owned and run, characterful, small hotel in the heart of New Galloway is positioned at the top of Loch Ken and on the edge of Galloway Forest Park. New Galloway has its own 9-hole golf course with spectacular views - which hotel guests can use, as well as another 30 courses all within a one hour drive. Rangers can be arranged for shooting, stalking, fishing and birdwatching. Vintage car hire and horse and trap tours can be organised by the hotel. The hotel is within an area ideal for photography, drawing and painting. A full range of watersports is available on Lock Ken between March/October. Cyclists and mountain bikers have full use of a secure storage area.
